The Glass Sector Workshop was organized on February 16, 2024 in Sapanca with the participation of over hundred representatives of companies in the flat glass, processed glass, glassware and glass packaging sectors.

After the opening speeches of Vice Chairman of the Exporters' Association Tansu Kumru and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ankara Chamber of Industry Seyit Ardıç, Tansu Kumru made a presentation about foreign trade analysis of Turkish glass industry and evaluation of the activities that will increase exports.

The workshop continued with brainstorming sessions on sectoral problems, expectations from public institutions and exporters' associations and government incentives. As a result of these studies, presentations were made by working groups.

This comprehensive event brought together stakeholders in the Turkish glass industry to address the opportunities and challenges facing the sector and develop common strategies. The workshop, which addressed the steps to be taken to increase the international competitiveness of the sector and ensure sustainable growth, shed light on the future of the Turkish glass industry.
