“Glass Is Future“, the breathtaking TurkishGlass installation, was on public exhibition in Milan from 10-14 September and enjoyed a very successful run at Italian Glass Week, one of the most important events of the 2022 UN International Year of Glass. The installation highlighted the importance of glass in the past and present and how it will continue to illuminate and add value to human life in the future. TurkishGlass were delighted to welcome visitors to their installation at Palazzo Giureconsulti. The unique installation, wholly recyclable, consisted of 7 pieces of architectural glass, 561 pieces of glassware, and 637 pieces of glass packaging. It reflected the quality of Turkish glass and delighted the many lovers of glass who viewed it. The exhibition afforded an opportunity for institutions, industry professionals, designers and consumers to learn more about the Turkish glass industry. TurkishGlass enjoyed a large influx of visitors and particularly welcomed the presence of dignitaries such as the Turkish Consul General, the Turkish Commercial Attache in Milan and the Vice President of the Cement, Glass, Ceramic Exporters Association, Mrs. Tansu Kumru, who engaged the audience with an overview of the sector: TurkishGlass, which represents the Turkish glass sector, exports to 175 countries and boasts extensive experience with many prestigious projects worldwide. TurkishGlass is proud of its production methods which respect the environment and contribute to the development of sustainable societies.
